It
is funny how we read our world.
We
always want so much and want it now,
And,
sometimes, there is only so much we can do.
I
would like to join you on the search for a day of no plans,
Turn
the corner and see the possibilities blooming.
These
unexpected moments, I believe, are gifts.
Take
time for the small moments.
Those
are the moments we will remember –
Simple,
pure, and connected
Go
with the right side of things.
It
makes life so much grander.
You
have to do what makes your heart happy.
I'm
just happy to be writing.
This
daily writing,
That
day to day of seeing and living,
Helps
us
To
notice the good in our lives,
Be
more mindful and aware.
Would
sure like to sit by you anywhere and tap away on the keys.
Sitting
together over a red teapot seems very good to me.
It
is no small thing to give yourself the time for writing.

what a charming idea. Even when one can't think of anything to write, one can always find something. These thoughts go together so well. How long did it take you to compile it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. My students like doing found poetry because they didn't have to come up with their own words.
ReplyDeleteLike I've said before, you are so clever! What a unique idea!
ReplyDeleteSo many good thoughts to make up a special poem. Great Slice! Comments mean so much and make this daily writing worth the time and effort.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific idea! Such warm and encouraging comments you've elicited, too.
ReplyDeleteI loved the sentiment in this:It is no small thing to give yourself the time for writing....especially during this March month of slice of life writing.

ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea for a slice, Terje! And it really comes together to say something profound about writing and noticing and living fully.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, and just right to give us all a smile today. Terje. It's like you found a big bunch of hugs.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and brilliant! You always amaze me with your words and your pictures. It makes me want to go back and reread some of my comments.
